If there is one thing that Japan has it is themed restaurants. They are anywhere from Alice in Wonderland to Alcatraz ER. My love and I went to one of these establishments in March. It was a blast. We choose to go to Alcatraz ER. Its set up with a very macabre theme. The seating is set up behind bars and the waitresses are provocatively dressed in a nurse outfit. As far as the menu there are a variety of cocktails served in correlation with the theme. You can order a beaker set with different juices and alcohol you mix yourself as well as a cocktail stirred with a "massager".They end up cutting off the lights and try and scare you while creepy music is playing. If you don't like the macabre and weird this place isn't for you but if you enjoy trying new things on the strange side then go.Any theme restaurant is must see in Japan, just find the one that is right for your taste.

Keep Calm and Travel On
I've been living in Japan for over a year now and I've been fortunate to see things that I never would have been able to experience without the Navy. I've been to one of the best and oldest cities in Japan.Kyoto was amazing and my love and I saw so many things like shrines and temples. On the same trip we went to Osaka which has become one of my favorite places here in Japan. There is so much to see there. We went to Osaka Castle which was beautiful. We also went to the Universal Studios there which was a blast because me and my love are all about theme parks.I hope to see so many more places in Japan before my time here is up.

Hotttt
So I am from FL which gets pretty damn hot and humid. Japan is definitely worse! This heat is killer and they only have one freaking pool in the summer and no good beaches. So lame!
New Friends!
I have actually meet some great ladies here which is especially hard to meet awesome people without kids that you can enjoy spending time with. I have definitely made some relationships that I will always cherish and remember.
Deployment
Well my love is gone and we are going thru our first deployment together. You don't realize how much you love someone until you can't be with or even talk to them. I know it will get easier as time goes on but I definitely don't feel whole without him here.
Finally
Haven't posted in a while. We finally got our things and pretty much everything made it here. My place is finally feeling like a home.

YUMMMMM
Had the yummiest food the other day. For 20 bucks for 90 min you get all the sukiyaki you want including soup rice and ice cream(yummy melon ice cream). Of course you also get yummy melon soda too. They bring you the meat raw and there is a hot plate at the table which you use to heat the meat while adding any spices or vegetables you want to add along with it.This place was great and me and the hubby will surely be going back.
